I Accidentally Started A(nother) High Margin Side Hustle.
Here’s how.
I’ve accidentally fallen into a great little side hustle. It has come out of nowhere and I want to outline what I’ve done and why I think this has succeeded somewhat overnight.
So, it turns out restoring and customising old golf clubs can be a really high margin endeavour.
It started with me buying an old beaten up Scotty Cameron putter, polishing it up, re-painting it and offering it for sale. I tripled my money. Easy, right?
Then I bought a set of old Titleist irons.
I sanded out all the dents, buffed them up, electroplated them in my garage, put them back together with some new grips, and quadrupled my money. Shit.
